ANT-101 Introduction to Anthropology

This course studies culture as the expression of human values, behavior, and social organization in its unique and varied forms throughout the world -- past and present. The course demonstrates the inherent logic of each culture considering the problems people need to solve and the environments to which they must adapt. Throughout the course, students will critically assess social issues and articulate distinct perspectives, leading to a greater understanding of human diversity and complexity.
