The Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership program is designed for the classroom teacher or other education professional who holds a graduate degree in education and is seeking only the supervisor endorsement. The program is approved by the New Jersey Department of Education as having met the academic requirements for the supervisor endorsement. To be eligible for the standard administrative certificate with a supervisor endorsement, a candidate must hold a master’s degree from an institutionally accredited college or university; hold a standard New Jersey instructional or educational services certificate or its out-of-state equivalent; and complete three years of successful teaching and/or educational services experience. Teaching and/or educational services experience completed in a New Jersey public school must have been under an appropriate New Jersey certificate (N.J.A.C. 6A:9-12.6).
