HUS-4020 Life of the Human Services Professional

This course explores the professional roles, challenges, and ethical considerations of human services practitioners. Students will learn about diverse career paths, self-care strategies, and professional development through lectures, case studies, guest speakers, and practical assignments. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications and reflective practices to prepare students for sustainable careers in human services.

Course advisory: Students should have completed Introduction to Human Services (HUS-1010) or equivalent.
