BS in Information Technology

Area of Study Overview

The Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with an area of study in Information Technology (IT) is designed for individuals in the IT industry. Various professional certifications may satisfy some or all of the degree's Information Technology elective requirements. A total of 18 area of study credits must be from 300/400-level courses. The BS degree with an area of study in Information Technology is a 120-credit program.

In addition, the program helps prepare students for popular information technology related industry certifications that are perfect for increasing career opportunities in the rapidly growing IT job market.
