BS in Construction

Area of Study Overview

The Bachelor of Science BS degree with an area of study in Construction is designed for those working in the construction industry. A total of 18 Area of Study credits must be from 300/400 level courses. The BS degree with an area of study in Construction Science is a 120-credit program.

Degree Requirements:

Higher-Level Mathematics above Intermediate Algebra

CIS-107 or above

MAT-115

PHY-115 or CHE-121

PHY-116 or CHE-122

  • How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: Students whose areas of study are not complete at the time of enrollment either use prior learning assessment PLA or classroom work to complete their areas of study.
  • A total of 18 area of study credits must be from courses at the 300 level or above.

The inclusion of similar courses must be reviewed by the evaluation team. Students must submit their program plan for review to ensure that course selection is appropriate for the degree.
