The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration BSBA degree program in Entrepreneurship is a 120-credit program. It focuses on developing management and financial skills.

What You Will Learn in the BSBA Degree in Entrepreneurship

Students in the BSBA in Entrepreneurship program learn how to:

  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities
  • Secure funding
  • Organize and manage functional business areas such as manufacturing, marketing, accounting and finance

All students must complete a capstone requirement, Strategic Management, which integrates content across the degree program and validates the students' knowledge.

Degree Requirements

  • College Algebra within Intellectual and Practical Skills section of General Education requirements
  • Statistics or Quantitative Skills for Business within the Mathematics section of General Education requirements
  • How Students Earn Credit in the Area of Study: Courses in this area of study may be completed with Thomas Edison State University courses and/or courses from other regionally accredited colleges. Prior learning assessment PLA and/or examinations may also be used. A total of 18 area of study credits must be from courses at the 300 level or above.

Note

Courses that are devoid of a course code can be accepted in transfer if completed at colleges and universities accredited by the six institutional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

In addition, the University offers a host of ways to earn credit for knowledge obtained in non-collegiate settings. Examples include:

  • Courses and examinations approved through National College Credit Recommendation Service National CCRS and the American Council on Education ACE College Credit Recommendation Service.
  • Military Service
  • License and certifications
  • Prior Learning Assessment
